Kev Tract - Stage One

Prior to LCWS aquiring this tract, all fields were routinely bushhogged without any supplemental plantings. They were 6" stubble. Here you can see after just 2 years the nesting and brood rearing habitat for birds and bedding for deer. We will let these pines emerge ,and at the right time we'll begin our prescribed burns. Hopefully we'll have our pine savannah and timber value, as well as some awesome habitat.

Evaluating wetland, which includes a six acre pond, for boundary, water quality, spillway condition, aquatic weeds, fish quality and population, to consider a possible wetland reserve program.
